New reports come in every day of Oakfield property management running bad property with serious health hazards and serious disrepair. Only in the last few days a witness has come forward to say a frail and vulnerable member of the family lives in an Oakfield run property in Eversfield Place, Hastings. Pictures are soon to come. But the feedback from the eye witness who visits their family member regularly is that there is severe damp and water damage in the flat. There is black mould and fungus everywhere, and the walls and plasters is actually moving. It is that rotten. When asked if Oakfield have been informed and asked to come out and deal with it, the eye witness respondent said “YES!” many times, but had avoided and never done so. Again, the tenant is afraid that if they insist and push they may end up with no home and being evicted. The feeling is that if you are frail, elderly, disabled, mum or vulnerable the best thing is to stay mum, stay silent and at least have a roof over your head, even if it is not a safe one, and a health trap.
