NOTICE TO THE CREDITORS OF AN INSOLVENT COMPANY OF THE RE-USE OF A PROHIBITED NAME

THE ROOST GROUP LIMITED05384222On 17 October 2011 the above-named company went into insolvent liquidation. I, Patrick Hanlon of 28 Laton Road, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 2ES was a director of the above-named company during the 12 months ending with the day before it went into Liquidation. I give notice that it is my intention to act in one or more of the ways specified in section 216(3) of the Insolvency Act 1986 in connection with, or for the purposes of, the carrying on of the whole or substantially the whole of the business of the insolvent company under the following name: Roost People Limited.

It is very curious to me, but bad businesses and bad business owners and directors can still continue.

And carry on as Roost Student working as student accommodation consultants and working closely with Brighton University.  Surely, universities and colleges should be concerned and interested in the standards of accommodation and landlords their students are asked to live with. One reason that many landlords are forcing regular tenants out and putting students in is because students have even less rights than tenants as to any rights or protest against any breaches of tenancy law or having any rights.  It is a Rogue Landlord’s charter to continue doing what they like and providing accommodation which is substandard and dangerous.

Property Knocks. Knocks on the wood of the heart of a hardened landlord. NO Love where property is concerned, and no pity where profit is.

But time is ticking and it will soon be over.
