November is Movember.  A month dedicated to highlighting men’s cancers such as testicular cancer and prostate cancer. It was started in Australia, and men are encouraged to grow their beards and moustaches for a month, to raise awareness.

There has been vast improvements in treating testicular cancers and prostate cancers, and now the healing and survival rate is one of the most positive. This has been due to recent developments in understanding cancers and the chemical make up in the body and how to address them.

But early detection is very important and a key factor in addressing the cancer early and responsiveness to treatment.

So go, check yourself out.

And raise awareness, and grow a beard.
